10 dished up the entertainment again in 2023 when Brent Draper took out the illustrious title and was crowned winner of MasterChef Australia 2023. This was Brent’s second time in the MasterChef kitchen after he chose to leave the competition in 2021 to focus on his mental health, a decision that made him even more determined when he returned this year.
He was one of 18 hungry hopefuls that entered the kitchen this season that ultimately saw Brent win the top spot and $250,000. Brent was proud of his achievement and acknowledged that MasterChef had changed his life. Rhiannon Anderson was runner up winning $40,000, while Declan Cleary was awarded third place awarded $10,000 to pursue his food dreams.
From pressure tests to immunity challenges, celebrity judges and cooking for the masses, this 15th season had something for every fan, family and foodie.
In a world-first for the franchise, Australians got a taste of TV with the smoky, sweet and spicy BarbeRue Sauce hitting the shelves exclusively at Coles.
Inspired by her love for barbeque sauce, Rue Mupedzi’s BarbeRue Sauce won MasterChef Australia’s immunity challenge and the incredible opportunity to be stocked for a limited time at Coles stores around Australia.
