Australia’s Favourite Couch Critics Deliver The LOLs

image description

Gogglebox Australia continued to deliver the LOLs in 2023 with their unique, brutally honest, and at times hilarious reactions to all the latest small screen offerings each week.

This much-loved, multi-award-winning TV series featured everyone’s favourite armchair critics who reflect modern Australia. On the couches each week were: cricket mad fans, The Delpechitra Family; happily married couple and grandparents Lee and Keith; Greek best friends Anastasia and Faye; tight knit family of four, The Daltons; best mates and larrikins, Adam and Symon; mother and daughter Kerry and Izzy; Matty, three-year-old son Malik and Uncle Jad; brother and sister foodies Tim and Leanne; avid surfers and best friends Milo and Nic; and our latest and loved household Kevin, Bob, Jared and Mia.

This year also saw the return of the annual one-off special episode of Celebrity Gogglebox Australia that helped to raise awareness for ReachOut Australia.

The stellar line-up of celebrities included leading comedians, TV and radio stars, all hitting their couches to tell us what they really thought about some of TV’s biggest moments this year.

Celebrity Gogglebox Australia featured: radio and television stars, best friends Carrie Bickmore and Fifi Box; comedians Anne Edmonds and partner Lloyd Langford; The Real Housewives of Sydney stars Krissy Marsh and Nicole O’Neil; The Great Australian Bake Off judge Darren Purchese and host Natalie Tran; Australian wildlife warriors, The Irwin’s – Terri, Bindi and Robert; Dave Hughes and wife Holly If; Australian comedy royalty Julia Morris plus Nazeem Hussain and Urzila Carlson; entertainers Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell; and 2022 Australian of the Year and Paralympian Gold Medallist Dylan Alcott and his mate, MasterChef Australia judge Andy Allen.

The results are in and confirm that each week, Aussies love to tune in to watch other Aussies tuning into TV.
