Denise’s Famous Scones

6 cups of self-raising flour

2.5 cups of thickened cream

1 can of lemonade

Mix self-raising flour and thickened cream until it resembles a crumble. Add the lemonade then knead into a scone dough. The lemonade gives the scones a light and fluffy texture.

Flour surface and knead to a soft dough. 

Roll to desired height and cut scones placing them on a lightly spray oiled oven tray. Bake at 160 degrees for 25 mins or until slightly golden.
