Season five of Network 10’s powerful Australian documentary series Ambulance Australia, will premiere on Wednesday, 7 February at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.
Narrated by 10 News First National Weekend News Presenter, Chris Bath, Ambulance Australia is the groundbreaking series which looks beyond the lights and sirens to the heart and soul of the men and women devoted to helping others on the toughest day of their lives.
With unprecedented access to the NSW Ambulance, Ambulance Australia goes behind the scenes of Australia’s busiest Ambulance service, responding to a call every 26 seconds.
Every day, emergency medical call takers, dispatchers, specialist clinicians and paramedics make split second decisions that can mean the difference between life and death. Over the past year, in NSW alone, 1.2 million calls were made to NSW Ambulance Triple Zero. Delving into the day-to-day operations of the 20 paramedics and three duty operations managers, this season is full of stories from the front line, where nothing is taken for granted.
