What is your role and what does it entail?

I’m a Product Manager in our digital team and have worked at Paramount for 13 years. We are responsible for developing, improving and optimising 10 streaming. If you were to relate it to my favourite TV show, Australian Survivor, we are constantly plotting alliances with the tech team, avoiding being voted off the roadmap, and trying very hard to keep our users off the tribal council when a feature breaks!

What do you love about your job and working at Paramount?

It sounds cliche but one thousand percent the people! Working with intelligent and passionate people makes my job a lot easier 

What are the challenges in your role?

Trying to keep everyone happy while still getting things done – if you are a middle child you would understand! 

What’s your proudest personal and career moment?

Proudest personal moment is being a mum to my two girls. Proudest career moment is when we released fast channels on 10 Play – it was a great collaborative effort across a number of teams and was so rewarding to see it live in action. 

Who is the Maraea outside of Paramount? What do you love to do on weekends?

I love anything sport related. Taking my girls to sport, playing sport, watching sport – and if wine was a sport, drinking sport.

@themidwifemumma – authentic and real mum, also helps that my daughters are the same age as her daughters, so content was always relevant!
