It’s A Shore Thing!

For those who haven’t watched Aussie Shore on Paramount+ yet, how would you describe the show in three words?

If I had to describe Aussie Shore in three words, I would say authentic, unhinged and chaotic.

How have your friends and family reacted to the show?

My friends and family are obsessed with the show. Surprisingly, not just because I am on it, but because every single person in the house is their own person and offers something so unique to the experience that it draws people in wanting to watch more.

What is your pit and peak from your time in the house that stands out?

I would have to say my peak moments in the house were a collective number of times that I found myself crying with laughter at Catia. There would be times I would laugh that hard I would cry, simply at the concoction of meals that Catia would make for herself, only to then complain about her bowels. ICONIC! My pit however, I would have to say was letting my drunk ego latch onto Manaaki and look like a desperate little puppy. I stand by what I said and that is, “I don’t chase, I attract”.

Was filming a reality show how you expected it to be? Did you ever forget the cameras were there?

Aussie Shore was the first reality show I have ever been a part of, so I did not know what to expect. I did think that once the show finished, I would never see my cast mates again and that the experience was a quick ‘one and done’. But I do have to say we are all still as close as a collective family which is super nice. I 100% would forget that cameras were there sometimes. Looking back at myself it just looks like I was in my own little world half the time!

How did you rate Charlotte Crosby as House Boss?

I have been a Geordie Shore fan for years so when I saw Charlotte walk in, I was star struck. I had no idea she was going to be our boss though. I thought she was going to be a special guest and have a few drinks with us. Iconic of her to work us hard when she was the messiest girl in the Geordie Shore house, but hey, she’s passing her wisdom down to us so I’m not complaining.

Did you ever get sick of partying whilst filming? Did you need to take a break after filming wrapped?

I do pride myself on being a party animal, but there were times during filming where I just wanted a day or night to myself where I didn’t have to do a single thing. It is exhausting. I have done a European summer and it does not even compare to the level of partying and shenanigans that we got up to on Aussie Shore. If anyone knows us well though, you would know that Kyle can never say no to a drink so you best believe I continued to launch for a few weeks after filming wrapped. Rest is for the weak.

How does clubbing in Cairns compare to the clubs in other Aussie cities?

This was my first time in Cairns, and I have to say, the clubs were clubbing. Does it compare to my home city Brisbane? No, I will always be bias towards Brisbane. The clubs in Brisbane are my stomping grounds. I have been going to them since I was 18 years old so you can’t blame me.

How has life changed for you since Aussie Shore has been released?

I am so grateful for the people I have met and the opportunities that I am getting as a result of Aussie Shore. I have always known that I wanted to be famous in some way, but I never knew how. I can’t sing or act or dance but, I CAN PARTY. If that is how I can establish a platform and connect with people then sign me up because what better way to enjoy life, then to do something you love every day.
