MasterChef Australia Welcomes Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex, As Guest Judge.

July 13, 2026
Sunday, 26 July At 7pm On 10.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, joins the MasterChef Australia kitchen as a guest judge on Sunday, 26 July at 7pm on 10, bringing her love of food, entertaining and seasonal produce to one of the competition’s most memorable challenges.

An entrepreneur, humanitarian and passionate home cook, Meghan sets a challenge for our cooks to create dishes that celebrate seasonal ingredients and the personal stories behind them.

Meghan’s love of food has been reflected in recent projects including the global hit Netflix series With Love, Meghan and the launch of her bestselling lifestyle brand, As Ever, inspired by cooking, entertaining and thoughtful gifting.

Meghan said: “What attracted me to the MasterChef Australia kitchen? Two things: my love of food and my love of Australia. It was an easy yes.

“It’s such a great show. I’m just really honoured that I was asked to be able to be here with you and to be able to judge some of these meals.”

Bringing a selection of some of her favourite seasonal ingredients to the MasterChef Australia kitchen, Meghan challenges the cooks to create a dish fit for a Duchess, heroing one of the following: carrots, Jerusalem artichokes, Brussels sprouts, celeriac, local Australian honey, macadamia nuts, quince, lemons, apples, mandarins and strawberries. Through their chosen ingredient, the cooks are encouraged to celebrate what’s in season while sharing something personal about themselves.

“These are all things that, for me, feel really nostalgic”, Meghan explains.

“I’d love it if there’s a connection that you can find when, as you’re cooking something, what is the story behind it?… What is something from your family or from a memory…something sentimental that we can also taste as we taste your dish.”

Meghan will be joined in the MasterChef Australia kitchen by judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Season 18 has welcomed a host of high-profile guests, from celebrated chefs like Rick Stein, Curtis Stone and Maggie Beer, to iconic food lovers including Jimmy and Jane Barnes and Robert Irwin.

This season has seen 24 of the finest amateur cooks battling it out for their spot in the kitchen, honing their skills and overcoming the pressures of the competition to plate up mouth-watering dishes.

Now, with only a handful of cooks remaining, every challenge matters as the race for the MasterChef Australia 2026 title enters its final stretch.

Who will impress Meghan and move one step closer to the MasterChef Australia 2026 title? Tune in on Sunday, 26 July at 7pm on 10.
