In a competition where simple tasks rarely stay that way, Taskmaster Australia returns for its fifth season with a brand-new lineup of comedians ready to take on the absurd and embrace the ridiculous.
Returning to his throne (and loving every second of it) is the all-powerful Taskmaster Tom Gleeson. Joined by his ever-loyal, occasionally helpful assistant Tom Cashman, the pair are ready to unleash a fresh round of absurd, baffling and downright ridiculous challenges on a brand-new batch of brave comedians.
This season’s brave (or foolish?) comedians ready to join the Taskmaster Australia alumni are none other than Rove McManus, Celia Pacquola, Anisa Nandaula, Brett Blake and Joel Creasey.
These five comedians will be put to the ultimate test as they’re faced with an array of tasks ranging from the seemingly simple to the mind-bendingly bonkers. And, we’ll be there to laugh at them every step of the way. Er, we mean laugh with them!
In the end, only one can be the winner and hold the golden trophy of the Taskmaster’s huge head above their own, basking in the glory of completing a series of meaningless tasks all for our enjoyment.
So, get ready to laugh at them (and occasionally with them), as Taskmaster Australia returns for another season of pure nonsense!
