MTV today announced the launch of MTV Back & Beyond, an exclusive month long music content block dedicated to celebrating four decades of the iconic MTV Brand. Classic performances mixed with future legends, this month is all about music.
Kicking off Saturday, 7 August, each week will be dedicated to a decade of defining music moments from the world’s most iconic artists alongside performances filmed exclusively for MTV across the years.
MTV is getting the party started where it all began in the 1980’s with the OG queen of Pop, Madonna. Get ready to step into the archives with Iconic content that includes Behind The Music Madonna, unforgettable MTV Unplugged performances from Elton John and Paul McCartney, as well as local legend Jimmy Barnes: Killing Time.
The curated music block is set to be a celebration of epic music moments looking back and beyond to feature artists past, present and future.
