To celebrate the Australian launch of the highly anticipated sci-fi series The Twilight Zone on 10 All Access, 10 and experiential agency Urban have installed an infinity room at Westfield Sydney where shoppers can immerse themselves in a dimension as mind-bending as the show.
The experience begins in a dark holding room where people can view a trailer of the new series. They’ll then continue through to the infinity room where the iconic Twilight Zone music plays continuously. As they leave, they’ll then have the opportunity to experience more by signing up to a free month’s trial of 10 All Access.
The activation is open until Sunday 28 April.
Network 10’s head of marketing Brad Garbutt said: “The Twilight Zone is one of the most anticipated sci-fi series of the year. We’re pumped that Aussies can binge the series on 10 All Access. It already has incredible momentum and, after the first four eps dropped on Good Friday, it was the #1 show on 10 All Access over the Easter long weekend. With this activation, we’re bringing audiences into The Twilight Zone and into another dimension. They’ll enjoy an out of this world experience full of endless lights and reflections. It’ll be an Instagrammer’s dream.”
Account director at Urban Holly Dover said: “We’ve drawn inspiration from Yayoi Kusama, and the public’s insatiable appetite for a unique insta-moment to create this mind-bending Twilight Zone experience.”
The activation is part of a broader campaign featured across outdoor, TV, cinema, digital taxi backs, online and social media developed by Spark Foundry.
The first four episodes of The Twilight Zone are available to binge on 10 All Access with a new episode dropping every Friday. 10 All Access is free for a month for new subscribers, before a monthly subscription fee of $9.99 kicks in. The first episode is available to view on 10 Play until Saturday 18 May.
10 All Access is CBS and 10’s direct-to-consumer subscription video on-demand service featuring more than 7000 episodes of ad-free entertainment from CBS and it includes exclusive original series such as Tell Me A Story and Strange Angel, current and previous seasons of select CBS and 10 shows, including Seal Team, Bachelor In Paradise, The Living Room and FAM, plus classic TV series, as well as the ability to live stream CBSN, CBS News’ 24/7 streaming news service.
