The AACTAs out of the bag!

December 5, 2018

Network 10 has won two awards at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTAs).

• Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders won Best Reality Series.
• The Bureau of Magical Things won Best Children’s Program.

The AACTA Awards recognise film, television and documentary screen craft excellence.

Network 10’s chief content officer Beverley McGarvey said: “It’s wonderful that these shows have been recognised at this level, particularly being the only two shows from a commercial network to have received AACTAs this year. It’s a clear demonstration of the quality of premium Australian programming we have here at 10.

“Congratulations to all the teams who work tirelessly to make Australian Survivor
and The Bureau of Magical Things such fantastic shows.”

Australian Survivor is produced by Endemol Shine Australia and The Bureau of Magical Things is produced by Jonathan M. Shiff Productions.

AFI | AACTA CEO Damian Trewhella: “On behalf of the Australian Academy, I congratulate all of this year’s winners and nominees, whose skill, passion and commitment to their craft highlights the world-class talent we have here in Australia.”
