10 All Access will launch the new U.S. Military based drama, The Code, today, Wednesday 10 April.
Following the military’s brightest minds, who tackle the toughest legal challenges facing the U.S. Marine Corp, The Code is sharp, witty and action-packed.
Fellow Aussie, Luke Mitchell (Home and Away), stars as Captain John ‘Abe’ Abraham, a driven prosecutor for whom becoming a Marine is a longstanding family tradition and a responsibility he treats with devotion and passion.
Abe’s colleague and friend, Captain Maya Dobbins played by Anna Wood (Reckless), is the fearless lead defence attorney who is never hesitant to go up against one of her own, but is also a team player if it means finding the truth.
Dana Delany, of Desperate Housewives and Body Proof fame, stars as Colonel Glenn Turnbull, one of the highest-ranking officers in the Judge Advocate Corps who demands excellence of herself and her staff, while inspiring intense loyalty.
Rounding out the cast are Ato Essandoh, Phillipa Soo and Raffi Barsoumian.
As prosecutors, defence lawyers, and investigators, these Marines work together to serve their country with integrity while often putting aside their personal ideals for the sake of justice.
Craig Sweeny, Marc Webb, Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Craig Turk and Christine Moore are the executive producers for CBS Television Studios. Webb directed the pilot from a teleplay by Sweeny, and story by Sweeny and Turk. The series is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.
