An X-Mass Exodus Hits The Big Brother Ho-Ho-House.
He sees them when they’re sleeping, he knows when they’re awake… Yep, Big Brother is feeling festive this week, decking the halls of the house with Christmas spirit. But unfortunately for two more housemates, their time has come to an end.
While the public once again had their voices heard during this week’s vote, one housemate made a bold decision when Big Brother tempted the house with an offer she couldn’t refuse.
On Friday, the housemates who weren’t up for eviction were given a brutal choice: to steal $15,000 from the total prize pool and leave immediately, or stay.
As soon as the offer was announced, Abiola was quick to let the others know that she was ready and willing to take it.
Explaining her decision, Abiola had told the housemates that she wanted to win money so she could go to the dentist and service her car, which her late Mum left her when she was 13 years old.
Speaking to host Mel Tracina on stage tonight, Abiola said: “I made the relationships I wanted to make in [the house] and they were all left on really great notes. The thing is, it might sound rogue to say this but, I think there are people that are more deserving of winning than I am.
“When the $15k came up I had to stand by my word because I had been telling everyone, even Big Brother… I just want to service my car and go to the dentist! So, I’m very happy with my experience in the house.”

But the Christmas chaos was only just beginning as several housemates were still up for eviction. Bruce, Vinnie, Conor and Holly were all nominated, and unfortunately for Holly, she received the least amount of save votes from the public and she was evicted from the Big Brother house.
While not originally nominated, Holly and Conor found themselves bumped into the danger zone after Allana saved Abiola from eviction.
Throughout her time in the house, Holly ruffled a few feathers. Always outspoken, Holly’s strong opinions on matters like ‘pretty privilege’ caused waves throughout the house. But this week’s shopping challenge brought tension to a whole new level.
Holly, along with Bruce, Coco, and Ed, had to act as staff at a luxury hotel, waiting on the other housemates 24/7. But with limited sleep, basic food rations, and guests from hell (on a secret mission from Big Brother), the staff began to crack under the pressure.
The stress of the week also caused friction between Holly and Colin, whose connection captivated the house – and all of us watching from home – but the on-again, off-again, on-again nature of their relationship, and PDA in every corner of the house had begun to take a toll on the other housemates.
Despite their relationship being under constant scrutiny by their housemates, Colin was clearly heartbroken to see Holly leave the house tonight.
Speaking to host Mel Tracina after her departure, Holly said: “It’s been one hell of a ride. I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it to the finals so I’m just proud I made it this far.
“It’s truly been an unforgettable experience… it was a lot harder than I anticipated but something very, very, very special has come out of it,” she said referring to her relationship with Colin.
Holly continued saying, “I’m wishing him all the very best, he needs to fly the flag”, before also revealing that she left Colin one final farewell letter written in lip liner.
How will Colin cope without his dearly beloved in the house? All will be revealed when Big Brother continues with a whopper Live Nominations twist tomorrow night!
