Yasss, it’s happening! Australia’s most iconic drama has returned back to our screens!
An all-new Neighbours has had an unforgettable homecoming filled with love, laughter, bucket loads of drama, and a surprise wedding!
As old friendships rekindle, new relationships ignite. Just like The Water Cooler’s brand-new friendship with acting legend, Alan Fletcher, aka Dr Karl Kennedy. (Editor’s note: It would be remiss of this Editor, if I didn’t mention my passionate love for Dr Karl’s eldest son, Mal).
Plus, to celebrate the premiere of the brand-new chapter of Neighbours, we’re bringing you a blast from the past! All your favourite episodes of Neighbours from February 2020 to July 2022, are available to watch on 10 Play in a dedicated home called “Neighbours Classics“. That’s a whopping 600 episodes, so get ready to binge-watch your heart out and relive all those beloved Neighbours moments!
You can catch all new Neighbours episodes weekdays at 4.30pm on 10 and 10 Play and 6.30pm on 10 Peach.
How do you feel returning to Ramsay St? What a whirlwind!
I could not be more excited! It has been a whirlwind, but I am so happy because Neighbours didn’t end for want of an audience. Thankfully, Paramount and Amazon were able to bring us back!
We know you can’t give us any spoilers but what can you tell us about the series return?
Firstly, the new Neighbours will be the Neighbours people know and love. However, viewers can expect to see exciting new cast, as well as past favourite characters. And, the look of the show will be even better. Then, add to that some huge surprises and unmissable drama!
What do you love most about Dr. Karl Kennedy?
I love that Karl can, in turn, be very wise and sensible, then in the blink of an eye, do things that are really stupid. He is a delicious character to play!
You’ve had some superstar guest stars on the show over the years, who would you love to see stop by Ramsay St this year?
Karl plays cricket for the Erinsborough team. I would love Nathan Lyon to guest as Karl’s spin coach!
What are your Top 3 favourite Neighbours moments?
- Karl marrying Susan on the Thames in London, just as Izzy arrives and delivers her love child with Karl.
- Episode 7000 where Karl has to nude up at Toadie’s house to look for a lost scratchy that he finds stuck to Toadie’s backside.
- Madge finding her husband, Harold who had been missing and presumed dead for two years.
