Tiffany Rollond, Communication & Sponsorship Executive for Adelaide, is the bridge between local community charities and the network. She also has a very special connection to Adelaide’s Paramount Gives charity – HeartKids.
Tiff is passionate about our Community Giving Day, sits on the Paramount Gives Committee and is frequently rallying the Adelaide office to participate in community events (not that they need much convincing!).
What is your role and how long have you been at Paramount?
I’ve been with Network 10/Paramount ANZ for just over 25 years…
I started in Adelaide, then had a stint in Melbourne for 15 years (where I met my hubby on station). I came back to Adelaide 10 years ago for the real estate prices and easier parking.
Currently, I’m the Communications & Sponsorship Executive for Adelaide.
What is Community Giving Day?
Community Giving Day is a global day set aside for Paramount employees to give back to our community.
What projects have you been working on for Adelaide?
Adelaide may be small, but we pack a punch when it comes to Community. Our staff regularly participate in community events and give their time to community causes.
Our Paramount Gives charity is HeartKids, who we’re meeting with this Community Giving Day in a special morning tea.
Why is being involved with HeartKids special to you?
My daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition when she was three.
Our family has had many trips to the amazing Royal Children’s Hospital. Our latest trip was a complete success which means we don’t have to go back again – YAY!
HeartKids helped us out and gave us practical advice, as a family we are very appreciative.
What do you love to do outside of work? What’s something people wouldn’t know about you?
You’ll find me walking on the beach with my dog, Jazz, my hubby and kids.
Pre-kids I loved to travel and spent two years studying in Canada and Sweden. I taught my son all the Swedish swear words at the weekend… our trips to Ikea are going to be hilarious.
What show are you addicted to right now?
I’m a huge Trekky. I loved the latest seasons of Star Trek Discovery and Picard, and am looking forward to Strange New Worlds!
