Have You Met Hillary?

November 13, 2023

If you’re in the Sydney office, you might find yourself walking past two of the key members of the marketing team, nay, the hearts of the marketing team, Cameron Crisp and Hillary Lee.

Two delightful sunflowers always offering up a smile and a solution to any and all problems.

As we’ve profiled Cam before, it was time to get to know Hillary. We sat down with her over an iced matcha latte and a plate of Belgian to talk all things marketing!

What is your role and what does it entail?

As a Marketing Assistant here at Paramount, I get to work on various tasks and projects under the Network 10 brand.

I manage finance tasks such as invoices, raising POs and communicating with vendors and assisting them with our finance systems.

My other tasks include maintaining campaign documents, and helping out with social media, out-of-home (OOH) and radio advertising.

What do you love most about working at Paramount?

With so many exciting shows to work on, I love the continuous feeling of looking forward to what’s next in store! Especially being an avid watcher of many of Channel 10’s shows when I was younger, including MasterChef Australia, The Bachelors and The Amazing Race Australia, being able to directly work on these shows is such an amazing opportunity.

What are the biggest challenges in your role?

The biggest challenges in my role include constantly communicating with external vendors. Whether it’s more finance or advertising related, it’s important to make sure you keep up to date with communicating deadlines and outlining tasks in detail, so nothing gets miscommunicated along the way.

What’s your favourite show across our slate and why?

I love The Amazing Race Australia. While those on the show have to complete some pretty challenging tasks, both the participants and the audience get to appreciate and learn about countries’ history and culture. I’ve always been a fan of watching when I was a kid – it makes me want to explore and travel the world more!

Who is the Hillary Lee outside of Paramount? What do you love to do in your spare time?

Outside of work, I love to catch up with friends for a casual brunch or dinner and spend quality time with my family on the weekends.

I also love to dance – although I started dancing at a young age, I took a break during Uni and have started taking classes again this year.
