What is Eid al-Fitr how do you and your family celebrate?
Eid al-Fitr is one of the best times of the year for us Muslims as we celebrate the end of Ramadan.
You can say it’s like our whole culture is breaking their fast together on that day as it marks the end of Ramadan.
We celebrate with massive family gatherings with the best food, desserts, gifts, money and presents.
Growing up, when Eid came around I’d refer to it as our Christmas, to keep it short and simple, so people understood that it’s import and special.
What is the spiritual meaning behind Eid al-Fitr?
Eid Al-Fitr is really special for all Muslims. It’s importance cannot be measured into words. It’s purely spiritual. It’s not just about abstaining from sustenance, it’s about reconnecting on a spiritual level and providing for those less fortunate.
As Paramount security, you interact with a lot of employees on a day to day basis. Spill the beans… which staff member always forgets their pass?
Boy oh boy, we get a mix of people (actually scratch that) departments who just love to forget their passes. You know who you are, just bring your pass!
How long have you been working at Paramount and what do you love about your job?
I have been here for the better part of four years and I love that I’ve met some amazing people.
What do you love to do outside of work?
Everything cars!! I’m a massive rev head. It’s a beautiful obsession for me and my love for sport is second to none!
What’s something surprising people wouldn’t know about you?
People get surprised when they find out about my superior knowledge of TV shows and movies like Bridgerton or Gossip Girl. Yes, even The Notebook. Or maybe my obsession with JUSTICE, aka Batman. Oh, and that I have a viral TikTok.
