What are you most excited about starting this internship?
I am most excited for the people I will meet, and what I can learn from them.
In the short time I have been involved in the onboarding process, I have already met some incredible people – Holly Green being one of them – and I know their advice and direction will put me in good stead for a career in television.
What particular areas of media interest you the most?
I am passionate about Indigenous Affairs, particularly in remote areas and communities across the country.
I also love sport – both playing and reporting on it.
What made you want to intern at 10 ViacomCBS?
Australian media outlets and networks can sometimes be a daunting place for First Nations people to work given the current climate. However, I feel 10 ViacomCBS is very progressive and ethical, and I have a deep respect and appreciation for a lot of their programs and the way they report on news.
What do you love to do outside of work and study?
When I am not working or studying, you will generally find me outdoors.
I am a Far North Queensland girl, so I love boating, camping and fishing (the perfect BCF poster child). I am also an avid rugby league player, so spend my weekends in the front row of our team.
What TV Show are you loving right now?
At the moment I am loving Criminal Minds! When I need something a little lighter to watch, I often lean towards The Office or Blue Mountain State.
