Five Minutes With Five Bedrooms

August 9, 2021

Is anyone else bursting at the seams for the season return of Five Bedrooms?!

We just couldn’t wait a second longer, so The Water Cooler decided to crash the set and speak with the stars of show ahead of the season two premiere on Paramount+. However, after politely being told that we were trespassing, we sent in some email questions to Kat Stewart, Katie Robertson and Roy Joseph instead.

What secrets can you spill about the upcoming season of Five Bedrooms?

Kat: “I think I can say we’re a little bit destitute! At the beginning of season 2 we are back on the hunt for a house after accidentally selling our last one. Liz is about to come crashing up against her past in the form of her ex-husband, Stuart (Rodger Corser) Ainsley has a baby on the way, Harry is getting very romantically adventurous, and Heather and Ben continue to redefine couple goals!”

Roy: “I don’t want to give too much away…but there’s a lot of love and loss this season. Always with a lot of heart. Get ya tissues ready!”

Katie: “Two words…zombie apocalypse. Did I say too much?”

What’s the worst flatmate experience you’ve had?

Kat: “I never did a house share! I went from parents to partner so I went into this naive and a little horrified like Liz did! But I would live with this cast in a heartbeat.”

Roy: “In my first share house I had a flatmate who would leave post it notes for me around the house. Needless to say the relationship didn’t quite flourish.”

Katie: “I have to say my son is probably the worst housemate I’ve ever had. He does bugger all, and doesn’t contribute to bills.”

What’s something about one of your co-stars that people wouldn’t know?

Kat: “Steve loves it when chops are on the menu at lunch, Katie is a natural blonde, apparently I have a distinct toothbrushing style.”

Roy: “Katie Robertson is literally obsessed with me.”

Katie: “I can’t name names but one of our cast members uses both hands to hold their toothbrush! Scandalous!”

What are you most looking forward to watching on Paramount+?

Kat: “Why Women Kill and Two Weeks to Live (…and Five Bedrooms of course!).”

Roy: “My incredible friend Liv Hewson is in Yellowjackets, so I’m really excited for that!”

Katie: “I can’t wait for Spreadsheet! You had me at Katherine Parkinson.”
