It will be sequins at 20 paces when season two of 10’s Dancing With The Stars twirls back on to our screens and into our hearts in February 2020.
Amanda Keller and Grant Denyer are returning to lead a new troupe of talented or tortured celebrities – live and, for the first time, filmed in Melbourne.
Family entertainment doesn’t come any more entertaining than Dancing With The Stars, with its brilliant cast, stunning production values and jaw-dropping, at times emotional performances. And let’s not forget our fabulous judges – Tristan MacManus, Craig Revel Horwood and Sharna Burgess – who will be back to praise and pity our dancing stars.
Dancing With The Stars was a hit for us this year, with a seven-day total audience of 625,000 viewers in the capital cities and an average weekly reach of 1.83 million. It was our highest-launching new franchise since Bachelor In Paradise in 2018 and, as you all know, 10 has a long history of building the audiences of new shows beyond their first season.
The show was also a hit for our partners. Kraft Heinz, for example, used this year’s season to launch its new Golden Circle Sparkling Range with glitz and glamour.
The innovative campaign we created for Golden Circle Sparkling Range included an in-program “bubble dance”, which highlighted the famous Golden Circle symbol and played first in-program to open the show, and “Sparkling Moments” play-offs.
If that isn’t enough to quench your thirst for true brand integration, other elements included product placement in the show, the Golden Circle Sparkling Range logo on voting prompts for viewers, integrated billboards, and a consumer promotion to win tickets to the glittering Dancing With The Stars finale.
