What is your role and what does it entail?
I work as an Executive Assistant in the sales team, supporting Rod Prosser and Grant Madigan.
A lot of people always ask what the role entails and it is hard to encapsulate as it varies every day, so I will tell you the main tasks! It consists of diary management, email management, travel arrangements, invoice processing and event management but there is so much more to it!
What do you love most about working at Paramount?
Most definitely the awesome people in the business and being able to support two genuinely awesome humans!
What’s your proudest career moment so far?
Definitely hosting meetings with over 200 people in them – as an EA we don’t get to do that often and I absolutely loved it! Going from being petrified of public speaking to being so comfortable and actually loving it is my proudest moment for sure.
What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
Focus on what you can control, leave what you can’t.
Who is the Angela Darby outside of Paramount? Where would we find you on the weekend?
The answer to this question is really dependable on Melbourne’s weather – but if the sun is out, you will find me outside either tanning on the beach, hiking and eating great food outside with friends and family. In the winter the answer to this is easy, you’ll find me at the footy or the cinemas.

In my nearly two years since joining the Paramount Team, I’ve learnt so much about the broadcast industry. But the teamwork firstly as well as the people and culture of Paramount gives me the most satisfaction. Creating great relationships within the teams I work with is one of the most important aspects of my job.
